About the tour

This beautiful and unusual station on the Piccadilly line only had a short working life between 1906 and 1932.

Located in a relatively poor area of London at the time, the station was never used much and was eventually closed down.

It has been dormant ever since, acting as a vital ventilation shaft for the Piccadilly line, although it was considered as the location for a secret wartime bunker for London Transport executives.

Join our expert guides for this virtual tour and explore the unique surviving features such as the tiled lift lobby and signal cabin as well as modifications to the station with never-before-seen footage.

A roundel with 'Hidden London' written in the central bar is hung on a wall. Underneath the central bar 'Hangouts' is written in blue. To the left of the roundel is a old fashioned black telephone and to the right is an old railway signal
