Explore the disused spaces of Charing Cross Underground station, go behind closed doors to exclusive areas not accessible to the public, walk under Trafalgar Square and see the London Underground in a different light.

Closed to the public since 1999, the Jubilee line platforms at Charing Cross are now synonymous with movies and TV. Explore the station’s history and find out how it became to be used as a filming location for popular TV shows such as Killing Eve as well as blockbuster films like the Bond hit Skyfall and even Marvel's Thor: The Dark World.

Charing Cross: Access All Areas tours will be run on Wednesdays - Sundays between 6 and 29 March and 3 April and 24 May. Matinee rate valid on tours starting before 15:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. To find out more about what tours are available, please click the book now button.

Ever wanted to see the escalator James Bond famously slid down in Skyfall?

Going behind closed doors to areas not usually accessible to the public and discover the disused spaces of Charing Cross Underground station. Explore the station’s history and find out how it became to be used as a filming location for popular TV shows such as Killing Eve as well as blockbuster films like the Bond hit and even Marvel's Thor: The Dark World.

You'll be able to visit where iconic moments of the film Skyfall were made before heading over to the London Transport Museum’s Cubic Theatre to enjoy an exclusive screening of the film whilst sipping on a classic Martini (shaken not stirred, obviously!).

Please note

Tour

  • Children under 14 years of age are not permitted onto the tours due to health and safety restrictions & the tour narrative being designed for an adult audience.
  • There are 20 places available on each tour.
  • There will be no cloakroom or toilet facilities available during the tour.
  • Visitors must wear flat sturdy shoes. Guests wearing open toe sandals or shoes, or high-heels, will be refused entry due to health and safety restrictions.
  • Access to the tour is by static escalator only, and there is no step-free access.
  • We request that all guests meet at the bottom of the stairs of exit 3 of Charing Cross mainline station 15 minutes before the tour time shown on your ticket. A member of the Hidden London team will welcome and register you on the tour, talk through the Health & Safety requirements, issue guests with a hi-vis, and check that everyone has the appropriate footwear. Each member of your group must bring photographic proof of ID along with your ticket to be permitted entry.
  • Upon purchase, you will receive your ticket(s) via email to the email address you provided. This may take up to 24 hours. If you have not received your e-ticket(s) after 24 hours, please check your junk mail folder and if you have still not received confirmation, contact the Museum booking office on +44 (0) 343 222 5000 or email [email protected]
  • You will be sent an event reminder email up to a week before your event with all the information you need to arrive on time and enjoy the tour. Please contact London Transport Museum if your contact details change after you purchase your ticket(s).

Tour & complimentary ticketed Skyfall screening

  • Please read the above notes for the tour portion of your event.
  • There are no public toilet facilities once on the station tour. Bathrooms are available for the screening at London Transport Museum.
  • After the tour, please make your way to the main entrance of London Transport Museum, located on Covent Garden Piazza, WC2E 7BB. A member of London Transport Museum staff will welcome you to the Museum and screening.

  • At the time of purchasing your tour ticket, you will automatically be booked onto the corresponding afternoon tea slot directly after your Charing Cross tour. Present your Hidden London ticket at “The Terrace” restaurant at the Amba Hotel to be admitted to your afternoon tea slot.
