Tour information

Ever fancied getting into the driver’s seat and seeing things from a new perspective?

Join us for our Cab It! tours, guided by our specialist volunteers. Experience Underground trains from the driver’s cab and explore a variety of static vehicles built between 1927 and 1983 – including the Museum’s 1938 Tube stock, which we take out on our Heritage Train Journeys. Cab It! tours offer an experience that isn’t available on any other tour: you’ll actually get to sit in the driver’s seats and imagine driving these historic trains. This tour is suitable for all, but is particularly popular with visitors who are interested in cab operations, or who already have some prior technical knowledge about cab operations.

Places are limited, so book early! Tickets will be available from May 2024.

Cab It! is suitable for ages 16+ only: under 16s will not be admitted.
