Description
The RT-type was designed before the Second World War, but only went into mass production in 1947. They were made in greater numbers than any other London bus. The RT-type became an iconic symbol of London during the 1950s and 60s, preceding the Routemaster. This bus, RT4825, is a typical RT-type. It was in service for 16 years, then used for driver training until 1977.
