Description | Bond Street Underground station, Central line. View shows the redesigned station facade, rebuilt between 1924-27. Station designed by architect Charles Holden. The station presents a two storey white Portland stone frontage with three square cut entrance ways. A wide canopy with projecting UndergrounD signs hangs above. A three panel clerestory window incorporates a stained glass UndergrounD roundel. Above the window, a blue enamel fascia displays the station name. |
