Upcoming Courses

Route into Work is a free, short pre-employment course to train, prepare and guide candidates through each stage of an apprenticeship application process. This spring we are working with Bombardier, Siemens and Transport for London (TfL) on upcoming Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships. The courses include tailored support and training to help you pass the specific assessments, building on skills such as CV improvement, communication, presentation and job specific knowledge.

Our Route into Work courses are designed in partnership with employers to support young Londoners into Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeships in the transport industry.

The assessment process for each employer is slightly different. All of them include a combination of online application forms, online behavioural tests, recording a two minute motivational video, attending a group and individual interviews. We will support you through all the stages of the process.

The courses are completely inclusive, and all people between the ages of 16 and 25 are welcome to apply. One of our aims in Route into Work is to support those currently underrepresented in the transport industry’s workforce, by prioritising reaching out to women and to those from a range of cultural identities. Delivery of these courses will take place in February, March and April 2020.

Travel can be covered on request.

What do people say?

100% of participants rate the course as GOOD or EXCELLENT.

“I think the course was brilliant, personally I wouldn’t change anything. The best employment course I’ve been on. It’s helped me so much. I’ve learnt more in 3 days than some courses I’ve been on for weeks.”
