Safety and Citizenship

This London-wide scheme is designed for young people to learn about safety and citizenship on or around London's transport system. Trained facilitators present to almost every Year 6 pupil getting ready to travel independently, safely and responsibly to secondary school. As our team also work with thousands of secondary students across London on local travel issues and the TfL behaviour code. Safety & Citizenship  sessions use a variety of video clips, role play and discussion to promote respect, responsibility and awareness when using public transport.

Visit the Safety & Citizenship section of the Transport for London website for more information including details about restorative justice sessions, special education needs presentations and to obtain teaching resources. Safety & Citizenship is a free service for London schools provided by Transport for London.
