TfL projects and partnerships

London Transport Museum has close links with our parent body Transport for London (TfL). As an independent educational charity, the Museum is contracted by TfL to deliver the flagship Safety and Citizenship programme, promoting safe and responsible travel to children across the capital every year.

We also deliver and support other TfL projects and partnerships beyond our work as a heritage organisation. We helped establish the Emirates Air Line schools scheme, and we are delivering a new Youth Travel Ambassador scheme to deepen young people’s engagement with transport issues in their local area.
