Special Educational Needs for families

SEN Family Banner

Early and Evening Explorers

For families with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we open outside our regular hours on certain special days. Enjoy the Museum at a quieter time, free from the general public, and with many of the gallery sounds turned off.

Explore our All Aboard family spaces in peace, have a go at our holiday activities, get hands-on with genuine parts of transport history, or make use of our sensory bags to support exploring the collection.

Advanced booking is essential as places are limited. Please call +44 (0)343 222 5000 to book your place now. Children and young people under 18 go free; adults charged general admission rate.
