Cloakroom
You can leave coats and bags at our free cloakroom during your visit.
Pushchairs and buggies
The Museum is fully accessible with a buggy.
Our buggy park is just inside the Museum entrance opposite the cloakroom.
Toilets
All toilets, including accessible toilets, a gender-neutral toilet, and baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor.
Baby changing facilities
Baby changing facilities are available in both male and female toilets.
Breastfeeding is welcomed. If you would like some privacy you can use our baby feeding room on the ground floor.

Stamper trail
Our free stamper trail will help your little ones follow the story told in the Museum displays. To begin your journey, take the lift or stairs back in time to level 2. The family station offers creative activities to do while you explore the Museum, or when you get home to reflect on your visit.
All Aboard playzone
The All Aboard family playzone is for children aged 0-7 years old. Children can enjoy playing on an interactive fleet of mini vehicles, become a bus driver and drive a real bus, and become a mechanic, riverboat captain, station announcer or driver.
All Aboard is located on the ground floor and level 1 of the Museum. We also have a Baby DLR area dedicated for babies.

Picnics are welcome during school holidays and at weekends and can be eaten in our Lower Deck cafe bar on the ground floor. Canteen is our contemporary cafe bar and can be found above the shop. Canteen offers an all-day menu, serving a mixture of hot and cold food and drinks.
