Description | The Bristol LH was one of the smaller buses designed in the 1970s. It was based on a standard Bristol LH design, but it incorporated some London Transport modifications. The bus had 39 seats and was only 30ft long and 7ft 6ins wide, which meant it was able to perform effectively on rural and lightly used routes. This bus, BL1, is one of 95 delivered to London Transport between 1976 and 1977. After only a few years service it was converted into a driver-training vehicle. |
