Description | Leyland Cub buses were operated by a driver only. This made it suitable for routes with light traffic or those unsuitable for larger buses. A total of 97 of these small, reliable vehicles were purchased by London Transport. They had diesel engines and pneumatic doors. Originally they were used in both the Central and Country areas, but the last examples were all confined to the Country. This bus, C94, had a long service life. It ran for twenty years, from 1934 until it was sold in 1954. |
