Description
The T-type was used by the London General Omnibus Company (LGOC) on the first Green Line routes in the 1930s. Green Line provided a fast service between central London and surrounding country towns, for commuters and day trippers alike. This coach, T219, was replaced by more modern coaches in 1938. It was temporarily converted into an ambulance during the Second World War. After the war it briefly returned to Green Line work before it was finally withdrawn from service in 1950.
