Strap hanger; Evian sample advertising strap hanger, London Underground, 2000

This strap hanger includes a miniature Evian bottled water container and features the words 'Thirsty? Grab hold of this. Evian Natural Mineral Water action'. In the late 1990s, the London Transport Commercial Development department was asked to develop new ways to produce additional income for the Underground network. This strap hanger is one of a series of novel designs created for the campaign, which also featured Pepsi-Cola, Vaseline and Kellogg's Cereals. The hangers were used for a limited period on the Piccadilly and District line.
