| Description | Sample of cut pile wool moquette with dark green fabric bound edges and two eyelets with abstract pattern resembling tropical foliage in black and graduating shades of red, orange, beige and white on a green background. It is known that this moquette was used in an experimental car design numbered trial car 20,000 in 1947. The experimental car was designed for Metropolitan line services and was a pre-production trial of A60/62 stock. It ran in service until it was scrapped in 1955. |
