Description | Sample of cut pile wool moquette with evenly spaced vertical rows of loop pile. The sample has its edges bound with green fabric and is fitted with two eyelets. The design is by Marion Dorn and is entitled 'Caledonian'. The pattern is reminiscent of a tartan consisting of a dark green grid on a light brown background overlaid with vertical and horizontal stripes in light green in various widths, thin horizontal red stripes, and vertical and horizontal light brown stripes. |
