Trousers; as issued to Country Bus Inspector grade staff, probably c1972.

Dark green wool serge trousers with no piping down the side seams. The trousers have a button fly, button adjustable side sections, pleats at the front and buttons for braces inside the waistband. Two side opening pockets, one small front button fastening lapped pocket and one back pocket with slit opening which can be buttoned closed. Fabric bias binding reinforcement strips have been fitted on the back half of the bottom hem of the trousers, designed to reduce wear. Waistband lined with dark grey synthetic fabric, and pockets lined with dark navy synthetic fabric.
