| Description | London Transport motorman cap badge (grade officially renamed Train driver in 1988). Chrome-plated, in roundel style, inscribed "LONDON TRANSPORT" across bar. Roundel infilled ochre enamel, and bullseye infilled red enamel. Lug and pin on reverse missing. This badge formed part of a new series of unified designs developed for LT by the Design Research Unit in the early 1970s, with different coloured roundel centres according to grades. |
