Description | This is a miniature silhouette roundel sign taken from the platform at St Paul's station on the Central line. The powder blue colour on the bar was part of an experiment with the roundel design. In 1900, the station opened under the name of Post Office, since it was close to the site of the General Post Office headquarters. Later the name was changed to the more recognisable St Paul's. |
