Tram stop flag; LPTB tram stop flag, 1933 - 1947
Main details
Reference number | 1983/148/1 |
---|---|
Description | This tram stop flag sign is made of vitreous enamel. It was probably made around 1938 and shows the simplified version of the roundel introduced by Schleger in 1934. Since tram services were rapidly abandoned by London Transport during the 1940s and early 1950s, few new tram stop flags were produced, so this example is unusual. |
