Christmas cracker; London Transport Catering christmas cracker, in box, as issued in the Tenth Floor Carvery, 1992

The 10 restaurant was located on the tenth floor of 55 Broadway, the headquarters of London Transport. This Christmas cracker was issued as part of the Christmas catering services offered by the 10 Carvery restaurant. After extensive refurbishment, the tenth-floor restaurant reopened as 10 during the mid-1980s. It was one of the first of several attempts by L.T. Catering to broaden its scope.
The 60-seat rooftop restaurant offered a higher quality service than previously available, with full à la carte menu. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties the restaurant had to close less than ten years later, and catering was transferred to external contractors.
