Description | The artwork for this poster was created as part of London Moves East: Community Collectors, a long-term contemporary collecting project, 2009- 2010. Participants were trained as ‘Community Collectors’ to collect both tangible and intangible material relating to the London Overground developments. Collected material reflects community and TfL workers' responses to the changes and developments resulting from the Overground extension. One of four posters resulting from the project, this intricatly illustrated piece explores what makes East London unique, conveying the area’s buzz, vibrancy and sense of community. |
