  Text	Northern Line Update 4 October 1992 Angel. The widened southbound platform is being tiled to match the new station. Mornington Crescent. The station will be closed from October 1992 until early 1994 for lift renewal and station renovation. During this time please use either Camden Town or Euston stations instead. Kennington. Listen out for announcements of terminating trains - and please remember to take all your belongings with you. Escalators. This autumn we will be undertaking a major programme of escalator refurbishment at the following stations: Balham, Stockwell, London Bridge, Euston, Old Street, and Tooting Broadway. Station refurbishment. Ten stations at the south end of the line are to be renovated over the next four years. Work starts this autumn at Oval.
