    Text
Westminster Abbey is today mostly Early English Gothic of
the time of Henry III. Stand by the tomb of the Unknown
Warrior to appreciate the glory of the loftiest nave in England. Inspect Chaucer's tomb in Poets' Corner, then pass on to the chancel. Here are the royal tombs with their magnificent effigies, the Coronation Chair, and the splendour of Henry VII's Chapel with its banners of the Order of Bath and its perfect fan vaulting. From Visitor's London, London Transport's official guide-book, price 5/- at most Underground stations, at London Transport Enquiry Offices or post-free from the Publicity Officer, Griffith House, 280 Marylebone Road, N.W.1
