Description
The Underground group published this publicity poster, designed by the prolific illustrator John Hassall, in 1913. Hassall was one of few eminent figures in commercial art at the turn of the century. His unique comic style earned him commissions from Colman's, Nestlé, Veritas Gas Mantles and the British Vacuum Cleaner Company.
