Description
This poster, Come In to Play, was published by London Transport to promote the use of season tickets, particularly for travelling into London from the suburbs to the West End for a day shopping, or an evening at the theatre. It features a design by the artist Paul Nash: a painted suburban scene contrasted with a black and white photo of Piccadilly Circus at night. A train ticket links the two images.
