Description
This poster was designed in 1934 to promote the steam cruises that visited the Royal Docks between May and September. The lively Art Deco-style poster captures the activity and motion of the river. Esme Roberts was a young artist commissioned directly by the Port of London. Her image was published as poster by London Transport.
