Canteen in Drake section of Clapham south deep level shelter. The canteen running along the left hand side of the shelter is staffed by five women in the process of making tea. The woman in the foreground pours tea from a white tea pot into white mugs, whilst the woman next to her pours from a dark coloured tea pot. Bunks are lined up against the right hand wall and the sign ‘Drake’ hangs in the centre of the picture.
