Description | Platform tile motif at Green Park Underground station, Victoria line. The abstract design by Hans Unger. The design represents a birds-eye view of the trees in the park seen against the green background of the grass. The blue disc amongst the green black and yellow discs possibly represents the station site on the north side of the park. The tile design was replaced by June Fraser's leaf-pattern design in 1979 when the Jubilee line interchange was built. |
