Description | Angel Underground station, City and South London Railway (now the Northern Line). Exterior view of the station situated on the corner of City Road and Torrens Street. The Animal Rescue League have a building adjacent to station, a theatrical suppliers also on City Road is just visible on right. Outside the station entrance in Torrens Street a line of horse-drawn carriages can be seen awaiting passengers, there is a newsagent kiosk within the station front on City Road. Pedestrians in street. Tram tracks in City Road can be seen. |
