Description | Three-quarter view of a class UCC tram at Wood Green Tram Depot, showing the Caution sign near the front exit and the Stop Signal Arm above the rear exit. Both these devices were intended to prevent accidents caused by other road users hitting passengers as they alighted. A uniformed man is on the right of the shot and a tram shed (No 7) can be seen in the background (both these latter items are cropped from the print in Album 086A). Series U8811 - U8814. |
