Description | Rail level view of King's Cross station, Metropolitan Railway, under construction, looking westwards. The arched roof, brick walls, and building spanning the tracks are substantially complete. One platform has been built, served by a single line of track which ends in a crude buffer stop. The remainder of the trackbed has yet to be levelled off. Scaffolding, baulks of wood, and other builder's materials are prominent. |
