Interior of a Piccadilly line 1973-tube stock car. Longitudinal seating can be seen in the foreground, separated by split-level armrests. Several bays of transverse seats are visible further along the car, beyond the double entrance doors. Sliding ventilators are situated above the double-glazed windows. Note also the fluorescent light tubes, the handgrabs, the line and system diagrams and the advertisements, some of which appear to be illuminated.
