The main station building, with its tall chimneys and wide wooden canopy, stands to the right. On the left-hand platform is a wooden waiting room and a large poster panel; two of the lampposts have station name roundels attached, but that nearest the waiting room retains a Metropolitan Railway diamond-shaped nameboard. A signal cabin stands at the far end of the right-hand platform. A track cross-over can be seen, midground centre.
