Description
Sloane Square Underground station, District and Circle lines. View of the refurbished platforms taken from the westbound platform looking towards the west. Newly installed escalators can be seen on both platforms. The arched glass roof is clearly visible. The walls are largely obscured by advertisements. Both the escalators and the roof were destroyed in an air raid in November 1940.
