Description | View down the westbound Central line platform, Tottenham Court Road Underground station, prior to modernisation. The original white tiling on the platform wall and roof survives, although damaged in places. Two illuminated direction signs can be seen; that nearest the camera has a double-flighted Mexican arrow. Two passenger footbridges cross the track and platform, midground and background centre. A number of people are waiting on the platform. |
