| Description | This photograph shows the continuing progression of the earth conveyed from the excavation site near Dorset Road. The earth can be seen progressing over the road atop a scaffolding. The scaffolding appears to be there merely to prevent the cars falling; they are still propelled by the rollers upon the cable. Pedestrians can be seen on the street alongside a car, a horse and cart and a bus. There is one house to the left of where the road appears to begin to cross a bridge. |
