Description
View of the Quadrant in Regent Street, looking west, and showing the central portion at the "turn" in 1886. White comments on the fashions of the ladies and on the shop front windows that were characteristic of the period when the photograph was taken. There are examples of garden seat horse buses in the foreground of the shot. There are also some men wearing boards advertising "Salutaris Pure distilled water".
