Description
Photograph taken from the original pencil drawing of a the First World War woman bus conductor, by the artist G E Studdy. The conductor is depicted wearing a wide brimmed hat, dark skirt and jacket. Bands of white piping are displayed on the collar, cuffs, jacket front and hat rim. She stands on the boarding platform of a B-type bus. A bell Punch ticket machine hangs from a strap across her shoulder.
