Description
Double deck horse-drawn knifeboard tram no 296, operating between Aldersgate Street and Clapton. Vehicle is seen in service, and has just passed under the North London Railway bridge across Mare Street at Hackney. The tram is empty, as is the road, apart from another tram just visible behind the first.
