Description | Interior view of the booking hall at Alperton Underground station on the Piccadilly line. Station reconstructed in 1931 by Charles Holden and is of the 'box' type, ie brick walls with flat concrete roof. Passimeter ticket office stands in the centre, with member of staff inside. A row of automatic ticket machines can be seen to left of passimeter. Three public telephone kiosks are visible to right of image. Note tall windows in frontage. |
