Description
Alperton Station on the Metropolitan District Railway (now Piccadilly line). Exterior view of the station which opened as Perivale Alperton in 1903, was renamed in 1910 and reconstructed in 1931. L-shaped building with entrance set back to create forecourt area. Box type station designed by Charles Holden. Lower storey shop attached to right of station building. Two panels of windows over the two doorways. Brick station with flat concrete canopy roof.
