Description | Three-quarter view of the stairwell entrance to Euston Underground station, Northern line, situated on one of the platforms of the main line station. Prominent freestanding glass 'UndergrounD' roundels stand above the stairwell, whilst other signs and posters are fixed to the sides. A geographic enamel map of the Underground stands foreground right. Also visible are shoe-shine and confectionary machines, and a large box for donations to the London Temperance Hospital. The roof of the main line station, with its supporting columns and high level advertisements, dominates the background. |
