Sloane Square Underground station District & Circle lines, (District only at this time). Exterior view showing the entrance through an arched opening between two shops occupying the one storey facade, to a short passageaway into the original station proper, which stands back from the road. The station name is displayed above the shops signs on either side of the entrance. On the pavement outside the entrance there is a post-box and nearby a man is pausing to light a cigarette.
