High angle view of island platform at Edgware station, Northern line Extension; a train of standard-tube stock stands at the right hand face of the platform, having been used on a special `press run' to the still uncompleted station. Members of the press can be seen walking down the platform towards the photographer. The platform is covered by a glass roof, from which an illuminated route indicator board is suspended. A signal cabin stands at the far end of the platform.
