Description
Reconstruction of Hounslow West Underground station, District line. View of the partially completed station building, with tower, still enclosed by scaffolding. Builder's rubble and huts occupy the area between the building and the fence. A small section of the original station can be seen on the extreme right. A contractor's sign, midground right, bears a strong resemblance to the Underground roundel.
