Description
Aldgate East Underground station, Metropolitan and District Railways station (now District and Hammersmith & City). Exterior view of the corner entrance to the newly resited station, which opened when the original Aldgate East and St Mary's stations were closed. A London Transport roundel and flag pole are displayed, along with posters referring to places to visit and the opening of the new station. People walk past the station.
