    On panel: The original shaft entrances at Wapping and Rotherhithe were finished at ground level with Pagoda like structures which have long since disappeared; however the new roof to Wapping Station recaptures this style of roof
    On panel: In 1865 the tunnel approaches were built and railway traffic commenced. Electrified in 1913, it now carries the East London line and still remains one of the most watertight tunnels in the London underground system
