Description | View of a section of the westbound platform, Hounslow East station. It can be seen that, except for the small shelter at the extreme western end of the platform (where a member of staff is standing), there is no cover for waiting passengers. Advertising hoardings and tombstone-style station name roundels line the rear fence. Note the very unusual long horizontal lamp arms on the eastbound platform, all of which appear to be devoid of light bulbs. |
