Interior of the D end of 1949-tube stock uncoupled non-driving motor car no 31037, showing the driver's shunter control cabinet to the left of the end door. The car has both transverse and longitudinal seating and shovel lightshades. This car was supplied by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Co.
